Club History
Baldock Town Youth F.C. as we know it, was founded in 1988 when Paul Kitchener and Roy Ryall got together and formed an under-14 side.
In the summer of 1994, the decision was made to rebuild the club from the bottom by recruiting 9-year-old boys each year to form successive under-10 teams. The decision to return 'home' to the Royston Crow League was made at the same time.
Over the years there have been many success stories on the pitch & off. With some hard work by some very dedicated people Baldock Town Youth was awarded Chartered Standard in 2005.
In 2003/04 season the club had it's very first Girls side who represented Baldock Town Youth in the Home Counties girls league, since then we have recently had a successful U12’s side competing in the Chiltern 7’s .
In 2006 we successfully bid for £25,000 from the football foundation fund to go into partnership with Knights Templar School & Stevenage Leisure to build an All Weather Pitch which has enhanced our training facilities.
Over the last few years we have developed our relationship with the Town's schools and Baldock Town Football Club - valuable allies for a club like ours.
Since early conception the club has grown and now has in excess of 20 teams ranging from U7’s through to U18’s with regularly over 350 players registered to the club.
